Stone Walls Built to Last
Gabion baskets do a job that mortared walls struggle with. The steel cage holds the stone under load while still letting water drain straight through, so ground pressure never builds up behind the structure.
That makes them the practical answer for retaining a slope, controlling erosion on a bank, or handling a wet site. They also work purely as a feature, filled with local stone so they settle into the landscape rather than standing out against it.
